SynthEthics is an independent collective dedicated to exploring the ethical, cultural, and societal impacts of AI-generated content. We investigate how synthetic media is being integrated into public and commercial spaces, and what this means for creators, consumers, and society at large.
Through research, reporting, and public dialogue, we aim to foster transparency and informed discussion about the use of AI in creative industries.
Current Focus
We are currently examining the use of AI-generated music in retail environments. We seek to understand the motivations, scope, and implications of this emerging practice, and to provide a platform for all stakeholders to share their perspectives.
